First Entry / Primera entrada

This is the first entry of this blog. The objective is to tell you how is working this emigration process (to Québec). The first question that comes to your mind is probably, why in the blue hell we need another blog, if right now, there are quite a lot. The reason is simple, this process is like a living thing, it evolves, and what we saw some time ago is no longer true...

Take for example, the time, if you looked at the average time at the beginings of the year, the canadian embassy in Bogotá said that 30% of the cases were assesed in 6 months and the 80% in 13 months. Take a look right now, and they are at 8 months and 16 months respectively.

So i will be updating the blog as often as i can, i will try to write it in english, spanish, french and japanese. Obviously i'm just learning all the languages so any faults you can spot, please let me know. This first entry is only in english and spanish for "technical" reasons.

Esta es la primera entrada del blog. La idea es irles contando a todos como va el proceso de inmigración a Québec. Se preguntarán porqué la necesidad de escribir este blog si ya hay varios... La razón es simple, este proceso es todo menos predecible luego los tiempos (de entrevista / entrega de examenes médicos) pueden variar mucho en pocos meses....

Para darles una idea en Enero de este año las estadísticas en el sitio de inmigración Canadá daban cuenta que el 30% de los casos se atendían en 6 meses, por su parte el 80% se atendían en 13 meses. Ayer al revisar la página me encontré con que estos tiempos habían cambiado a 8 meses en el caso de 30% y a 16 meses en el caso del 80%.

Así que estaré actualizando el blog con tanta frecuencia como me sea posible. El objetivo es escribir en español, inglés, francés y japonés, pero por razones "técnicas" hoy solo están en español e inglés. Obviamente estoy en el proceso de aprenderlas, así que cualquier sugerencia o error que encuentren por favor háganmelo saber.
